Essential Employment Law for Managers Workshops

Vine HR would like to meet the shared demand for a practical overview of employment law issues, to understand the key areas of Employment Law frequently encountered by managers within organisations. We are pleased to provide 3 days of ½ Day workshops on ‘Essential Employment Law for Managers’ and have commissioned Sonya O’Reilly of Birkett’s to facilitate these events, the course outline is attached for your reference >>>

We recognise that managers on the front line often have to make immediate decisions on how to deal with situations and can be involved in matters which become prolonged; such as managing sickness absence, or a complex disciplinary investigation. It is therefore vital that managers have a level of understanding of what is expected of them. These workshops are intended to help with the issues managers are likely to deal with on a day to basis and subsequently enhance best practice within their organisation.

All 6 workshops will take place in the Crompton Room, Chelmsford City Council at 09:30 ~ 12:30 or 13:15 ~ 16:15, please confirm your preference at the time of booking:

  • Thursday 7th November
  • Monday 9th December
  • Thursday 30th January

Every member authority is being offered 2 complimentary places (booked on a first come first serve basis) and once those have been allocated to each authority the cost for further/additional places will be £65pp plus VAT.
